Mr. Zhuang is one of the founding partners of Motion Global, which operates the SmartBuyGlasses Optical Group, one of the world’s largest designer eyewear e-commerce groups with operations across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas. Over the last decade Mr. Zhuang has established domain properties that are market leaders in over 30 countries and 15 languages worldwide. Motion Global has been recognised as the winner of the ‘Entrepreneurial Award’ (2014) and ‘Business Excellence Award for Business Innovation’ (2015) in the Austcham Westpac Australia China Business Awards and Mr. Zhuang was the winner of the 2016 Australia China Alumni Award for ICT and New Media. Mr. Zhuang brings extensive experience in start-ups, e-commerce, online marketing and technology strategy.
Mr. Kim has 30 years of experience in marketing, business development, product strategy, distribution and digital delivery spanning Asia, Oceania, Europe and the US. He has held sales, product, operations, IT and executive roles in multi-nationals such as Citibank, National Australia Bank, Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, Hewlett-Packard, Hyundai Information Technology and Intuit (developer of Quicken/QuickBooks), as well as having extensive start-up experience. Mr. Kim has served on the boards of two Australia Stock Exchange (ASX) listed companies, and has been CEO in several consumer and technology start-ups he founded and invested in. Mr. Kim is focused on technology driven products, businesses and distribution models in Asia Pacific.
Mr. Russell is Group CEO and one of the founding partners of Equis, one of Asia's leading power and infrastructure private equity groups. In his capacity as CEO, Mr. Russell has raised over US$4 billion for Asian infrastructure private equity funds having established, operated and chaired the boards of over US$20 billion of investments across China, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand. Prior to Equis, Mr. Russell spent 12 years with Macquarie Group, leaving as Head of Asian Private Equity and Greater China having established Macquarie infrastructure funds across North Asia and 5 years as a utilities lawyer with Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom (U.S.A.) and Minter Ellison (Australia).
